♦ CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Children’s Church is a special message for our little ones, and the adults as well…the “Children’s Moments” message occurs during the 11:00 a.m. worship service, and is followed by an open invitation for all children (kindergarten through 5th grade) to join us for Children’s Church in the classroom next to the nursery.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) — will be held August 2 - 6, 2010. Come join the High Seas; kids will explore the sea-side of God's word! VBS is a great time for kids (preschool to kindergarten) to have fun and gain exposure to the bible. We had a record number of children last year, and look forward to the same this year!

Children’s Summer Program — For children 1st thru 5th grade, our Summer Program starts June 21 - August 6, Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. till noon. Breakfast & lunch will be served. During the summer program there will be games, daily lessons, activities like gardening and cooking, scriptures, devotions, fellowship, new friends, visitors from police & fire, trip to COSI. Lots of fun! Our summer program provides children with a safe, yet fun, environment in which to spend part of their summer vacation.

Sunday's Afternoon Youth Group (4-6 pm) — Every Sunday afternoon, young people (6th - 12th grade) gather at the church for a meal and to learn from scripture, and have fun! We will worship together, spend time in fellowship, play games, and have the chance to talk with kids their age about life issues.
